- Dancers and non-dancers alike immediately master a Zumba class because you do not have to know how to dance to succeed at Zumba. It creates a party-like atmosphere that provides a non-intimidating opportunity for non-dancers, new exercisers or those who have previously hesitated to participate in group classes. All students feel comfortable knowing that they can just go with the flow and enjoy the party!
- The class format combines fast and slow rhythms that tone, sculpt the body in an aerobic/fitness fashion to achieve a unique blended balance of cardio and muscle-toning benefits. The cardio-based dance movements are easy-to-follow steps that include body-sculpting, which targets areas such as gluteal, legs, arms, core, abdominals and the most important muscle of the body – the Heart.
- Zumba integrates some of the basic principles of aerobic, interval, and resistance training to maximise caloric output, cardio-vascular benefits, and body toning. Therefore, its like a complete workout to achieve any fitness goal.
- Zumba works closely with the American Coucil on Exercise (ACE), the Aerobic & Fitness Association of Amercia (AFAA), IDEA and ACSM professionals to ensure its programs and trainers are in adherence with industry standards.
